Installation
Setting up VP-ASP takes just a few minutes and does not modify the client’s computer in any way. The installation will be over as soon as the zip file is unpacked and the setup wizard makes it easy to get started. There is no need for any plug-ins or system updates. Shopping features are simply turned on depending on current needs and clients can set up a complete shop within one hour just by adding products.
Products/Inventory
Users have the ability to add as many products as they would like in unlimited categories. Such features as radio buttons, drop-down lists, check boxes, quantities and fill-in text give buyers a great shopping experience. Products and prices can be displayed in a variety of ways.
The clients can control all images on the server using the new Asset Manager for HTML editor and they can have several images for the same product. They can also choose to hide products automatically when they are out of stock or display out-of-stock messages and then send notification emails automatically when the products have been restocked. There is also a new RSS product feed.
Design and Layout
The new Layout Manager makes it easy to change the layout of a Web site without worrying about the underlying code, complete with advanced search facilities. A mini cart is always visible and there are over 350 configuration options.
Payment Options
VP-ASP provides more than 100 electronic gateways, including PayPal, Verisign and Authorizenet. It supports dual currency displays and currency conversions in real time, which is compatible with any type of currency. Other important features include PIN number delivery, secure digital delivery, points rewards and recurring billing. A 3 to 4 number may also be required to verify cards.
Anti-Hacker Security
A number of features are built in to prevent hacking, including security alerts in case of insecure pages, IP to country checks and various internal security checks. Accessing Administration requires dual-password login and admin is placed on a separate folder.

I have been with vpasp for around 2 years and I recently moved over to their hosting service, it’s a little more expensive than other hosting services but I don’t mind because since I moved my store has been running a lot quicker and up to yet I have had no downtime at all.
I have never had any problems with their software, I love the fact that EVERYTHING is customizable and I am basically free to do whatever I want with it.
Brilliant shopping cart
VPASP gets my vote too. I was with Magento until a friend of mine showed me VPASP, they actually have a feature compare list to Magento which finalized my decision.
With Magento I was paying for the safety and security of a well known name however I now feel satisfied that I am paying a lot less for the same caliber of software.
VPASP have been fantastic from start to finish for me and my husband and our cake baking business. The software is very easy to use and the custom design they did for us is beautiful.
