3DCart is a hosted shopping cart created by Infomart 2000, Corp. in 2001 to provide an affordable e-commerce solution for small to midsized businesses. 3DCart offers a variety of plans to fit your needs. Plans start at $19.99 per month for the mini plan and go up to the standard plus which is $99.99 per month. They will also work with you if you have needs above their top-level plan. When speaking with 3DCart on the phone, they seem very willing to help in any way necessary to come up with a custom plan to fit any business.
3DCart offers a host of tools to easily set up and maintain an e-commerce website. The software is well thought out and because it’s been in existence since 2001, the car definitely has its kinks worked out. Here is a list of some of the key features of 3DCart:
- Integration with Google Checkout and PayPal
- Flash Image Gallery
- Ship to Multiple Addresses
- Integration with Popular Third-Party Software
- Drop Shipper Support
- Advanced Inventory Control
- Tier 1 E-Commerce Hosting
- Integration with the Top Shipping Software
- Coupon Codes Can Gift Certificates
- Data Feed Generator for Popular Shopping Sites Such As Yahoo, Google, and Shopping.com
3DCart offers a variety of support options including training videos, PDF tutorials, a knowledge base, an online ticketing system, forums and phone support. It has been my experience that 3DCart has very good, helpful and prompt technical support. This is one area that 3DCart is above the rest.
The 3DCart forum is an active community that you’ll be able to find answers to your questions and problems from other merchants. This is also a great resource to look at when evaluating their software.
If you’re looking for shopping cart software that is easy to use and that has very good support look no further than 3DCart. They are definitely recommended for small businesses. At this point, it may be a stretch to use them for mid to large sized businesses. I invite you to write your own 3DCart review in the comments section below.

I spent 2 years working on researching my business idea and just reading, reading, and reading more about how to do things. I then decided to use 3dcart as my service provider and to this point I can easily say that I’m 100% glad of my decision. It took me a while to get the hang of their system but now that I completely understand it I see how simple it really is – but I chalk that up to my newbie status in web design, etc.
The best part of things has been their Live Help option. My schedule is pretty wacky so many times I log in to work on my side business at weird hours. Whenever I’ve had to do a bunch of technical issues for which I’m nowhere close to qualified to perform – and that’s pretty often – I was able to just go to their Live Chat and instant message back and forth until I figured things out. I’d say over the last 365 days that I spent 150 of those days in a chat conversation with someone at 3dcart. I might be one of their pain-in-the-ass customers because I need lots of help, but it’s been invaluable to me and at a good cost.
